Mid-sized general contractor, design build firm seeks construction president to lead the organization.

Overall Focus:

Set the business direction and strategy for the multi-sector, multi-geographic operational and non-operational functions for the group
Provide the leadership, resources, and direction needed to accomplish the groupís objectives
Participate in the development and implementation of corporate strategy
Implement the corporate branding strategy in the group


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
In addition to other duties as assigned:

Participates in formulating and administering company policies and developing long-range goals and objectives.
Directs and coordinates activities of Construction Division for which responsibility is delegated to further attainments of goals and objectives.
Reviews analyses of activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine division progress towards stated goals and objectives.
Directs with Business Development Department to maintain high quality business relations with owners, subcontractors and other business partners.
Oversees the project management systems for processing Construction Division project activity and accounting.
Provides direction and communication linkage for all legal matters relating to the construction activity of the company.
Maintains active participation in all Partners, Senior Managers and Key Managers meetings.
Directors General Superintendents in oversight of all field activities.



SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Manages seven subordinate supervisors who supervise all employees in the Construction Division.
- Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Construction Division.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizationís policies and applicable laws.
- Responsible for interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work
- Responsible for appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

REQUIREMENTS
- 10 years P&L responsibility for general contractor or construction manager or design build firm
- Degree preferred
- Stable job history
- Track record of accomplishment
- Exceptional management and leadership skills
- Exceptional people and presentation skills

Will relocate from anywhere in the USA.
