Construction Cost Estimator

• Served as project Cost Estimator for several commercial projects.  Projects included parking decks, university dormitories, k-12 schools and university facilities, science buildings, medical offices, athletic facilities, theaters and auditoriums, civic centers, museums, renovations and additions.


• Responsible for analyzing blueprints and other documentation to prepare quantity takeoffs and cost summaries that includes cost of materials, equipment, labor, subcontracts, taxes, insurance, overhead, markup, and any other costs affecting the project.  Consulting with clients, engineers, contractors, subcontractors, architects, owners, and vendors to discuss changes and adjustments while formulating cost estimates.  Visit sites to record information about access, drainage and topography, and availability of services such as water and electricity.
