What is the best way to screen resumes?

The fastest way for construction employer to screen resumes is to focus on the accomplishments and job responsibilities listed for the last two construction employers. If the resumes shows promise then they go in the ?maybe? pile for further scrutiny; if not they go in the ?wait and see? pile. Of course each construction employer has his or her own set of expectations and standards, but if the resume does not show the executive having recently accomplished the tasks or held the responsibilities required of the current position, the executive will not be able to ?hit the ground running? and will require training increasing the risk of a poor hire.
