When should I schedule the "resignation" meeting in which I would like to present a counter?

Employees will try to schedule the resignation meeting for Friday afternoon, but it is to the construction employer’s advantage to schedule this Monday morning. It would be easier for the construction employer to have 5 full days to "work" on the employee as a captive audience in preparation for retention and presentation of the counter.
