Is Too Much Anger Harming My construction career?
Employees who can't control their anger or deal effectively with others' anger often damage their professional construction careers. Showing that you're 'trigger-tempered' can hurt you politically in your relationships with your construction employer, colleagues and subordinates. Chronic anger -- having a so-called "low boiling point"-- can lead to confrontations that cause job losses or permanent construction career damage. If you mishandle anger, you can sour working relationships and hurt your reputation as a team player. And, if you lack the discipline or disposition to express anger constructively, you're likely to receive low performance ratings and be bumped from the fast track.
