The most important part of an executive's resume is the top 1/3 area of page one- the prime real estate. This is the most read section on any resume and should be given the most careful consideration. The visual presentation of the top 1/3 of the resume is critical as with any marketing piece. It should be clean and given sufficient white space.
Your resume should also contain the most important aspects of an executive's background that make her the "right construction executive job seeker" for the position being applied for- the executive summary. The executive summary should be used to quantify accomplishments and not speak of generalities concerning job objectives, or job responsibilities.
