Just wondering what is the most accepted way to send out thank you notes for interviews. I know the norm used to be typewritten, strictly professional type of letters. I now understand that it can be handwritten or even emailed?

There are a lot of theories surrounding this question. But the best answer is - Go for what you know. Do what you feel is best for each construction employer.

If the construction employer seemed laid back and you established a relationship with the interviewer- then a handwritten note or email may be in order.

If not, and you want to present yourself again as a professional business minded individual then thanks in the form of a typewritten letter is also appropriate.
