How can I get over resistance from construction employers who believe I'm over qualified?
You might consider targeting a more senior position in the construction employer. If you are over qualified, then perhaps your experience can be positioned as an asset to others who are less qualified. You might be able to sign on as a teacher, construction mentor, or construction manager.
