I know what I want in a new construction career. I've decided to change construction careers. How should I go about it?

Changing construction careers or changing jobs is just like any project. First, you define the optimum outcome. Second, take inventory of your current situation and position. Then you figure out what needs to be done to move from where you are to where you want to be. When you know your from-to and the actions that have to take place, translate what needs to be done into reasonable, executable, quantifiable goals. Make a plan and work the plan, and before you know it you'll be in the construction career or job you wanted.
