What is a Director of Acquisitions Job Descripton?

Director of Acquisitions to oversee its condo development activities. This position will be responsible for managing land acquisitions, so knowledge of the acquisition laws and regulations is also a must. A Bachelor\'s degree is preferred. The personality to work side by side with other directors is a must. A proven history of leading and mentoring a team is a required attribute also. Description of Job Duties and Responsibilities: *Able to establish and administer acquisition policies and procedures * Develops proposals and budgets * Experience with multi-unit properties * Knowledge of property insurance and services * Knowledge of property acquisition laws and regulations * Ability to negotiate contracts and terms * Minimum of 5 years multifamily experience with a preference of 10-20 years experience in real estate development. * Bachelor’s Degree preferred * Strong computer skills required * Above average interpersonal skills * Self-starter
