What is Construction Senior Estimator Job Description ?

Job Description Reporting directly to the company Owners the main purpose of this role is to prepare tenders including the estimation of project cost, time and resource requirements. Day to day responsibilities will include: Preparing commercial cost plans and budget estimates Collating and formulating quotation and tender requests Documenting changes to specifications and preparing addendums Assisting develop trade specific scope of works and providing value engineered solutions Liaison with Architects, Engineers, contractors, suppliers, Council\'s etc To succeed in this role, you will possess: Formal qualifications Min 4-5 yrs commercial estimation experience Ability to work as part of a team A customer focus and the ability to build relationships High awareness of contemporary construction techniques, service providers and suppliers
