What Construction QC Supervisor Job Description ?

Job Description Responsible for performing quality control test for plant mix asphalt i.e.; moisture, extraction, ash correction, gradation, asphalt cement content, tensile strength ratios, and rice test. Responsible for and able to design asphalt mixes. Remain updated on new research or techniques that will result in a more efficient or cost effective solution. Assure company complies with specifications by any State, FAA, or other contracting agency or owner. Have knowledge of and comply with all safety policies in field operations, plants and laboratory. Additional responsibilities may include working with and assisting field personnel, working with State Inspectors, trouble shooting mixes on Job site and in the Lab, and any other duties necessary to achieve successful project completions. Required Experience 4 to 5 years of similar experience for an asphalt paving, transportation focused construction company Previous Supervisory experience Team player willing to multi-task.
