What is Construction Project Manager Assistant Job Description ?

Job Description Job Description: 1. Will monitor all daily activity onsite regarding the mechanical aspects of the construction process. 2. Project Manager will not be onsite daily, thus must act as a liaison between P.M. and other various contractors when P.M. is absent. 3. Additional responsibilities include assisting with contract documents, coordinating large equipment purchases and deliveries, purchasing, coordinating drawings and fabrication. Job Qualifications: 1. B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management is preferred. 2. 2 - 10 years of professional experience actually on a construction site. 3. Must have professional familiarity with mechanical equipment (HVAC, Cooling Towers, Chillers, Heaters, etc.) 4. Must have professional experience with large commercial or industrial projects. Candidates with residential experience will not be considered. 5. Must have understanding of Electrical Theory. 6. Excellent written and verbal skills are required. 7. The ability to work with field trades and upper level management required. 8. Proficient in reading blue prints. 9. DDC experience a plus.
