What is Construction Cost Engineer Job Description ?

Job Description Review contractors bid breakdown estimate and provide review comments to the Resident Engineer after reviewing with the Project Controls Manager. Prepare all field related change order requests including independent estimates; review estimates with Project Controls Manager prior to issuing to the Resident Engineer; assemble Change Order Packages for transmission to DEP and contractors. Negotiate change orders and prepare negotiation memos for review by the Project Controls Manager prior to transmitting to the Resident Engineer.
