What is Construction Building Engineer Job Description ?

Job Description Assist the Chief Engineer in overseeing and monitoring the operations of the commercial building including adjustments to the refrigeration, HVAC, electrical, EMS, hot water systems, maintain refrigeration, chilled water and air conditioning equipment, boilers and ventilating and other mechanical and electrical equipment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Electrical installation, repair and maintenance of electrical equipment and controls located in the interior and exterior of the building. Plumbing installation, repair and maintenance of piping and associated equipment and components located in the interior or exterior of the building. Installs, repairs and maintenance of mechanical and electrical operating equipment and machinery. Conducts a routine and on-going assessment of the building systems operations Performs tests, rounds and analyzes data to assure the proper functioning of the departmental equipment. Will perform preventive maintenance on all building equipment.
