What is Construction Accounting Manager Job Description ?

Responsibilities: Responsibilities include: submitting documentation for cost accounting, preparing payments for contractors based on contractual performance, setting policy and timing for construction discounts, maintaining payment records, and other duties as assigned. Position also has discretion to negotiate with contractors and decides what payments will require 2 party endorsement. Qualifications: Qualified candidates will have a minimum 2 year degree and 3 years of experience. Additional work experience may be substituted for college degree. This challenging A/P position must be organized, diligent, technically sound and able to act as a section controller. Some construction accounting experience is preferred.
