What is Construction Specialty Contractor Vice President Operations Job Description ?

Job Requirements General management experience. Candidate must have proven track record of general management success, as demonstrated by profitability and growth. Fabrication & erection experience. Candidate must have strong specialty construction experience, demonstrating the knowledge to operate an efficient fabrication shop. Previous experience to include sales & estimating, contracts management, scheduling, and crew oversight. Construction industry experience. Successful candidate must understand structural steel in the context of the commercial and residential construction industry, including construction scheduling and site conditions. Customer service focus. Successful candidate will possess excellent people skills and the ability to forge quality, long-term customer relationships. Attention to detail. Successful candidate must possess a real attention to detail, assuring that production and erection schedules are executed religiously and contracts performed. Language capability.
