What is Construction Purchasing Manager Job Description ?

The Purchasing Manager is responsible for the solicitation of bids and quotes from vendors, purchasing approved items for food, beverage, printing and stationary, operation supplies, cleaning chemicals, equipment and capital items. As the Purchasing Manager you will also monitor purchase requests and ensure that all are made through the appropriate purchase order system. You will also ensure that all orders are received, and stored properly. Par levels established with inventory maintained. The Purchasing Manager will also help the Exececutive Chef oversee the Stewarding Department. Job Requirements: 2 years F&B Purchasing and Receiving experience in a hotel/resort environment. Must have accounting and inventory control experience. Computer literate. Experience with safety and sanitation procedures. Serve Safe Certified preferred. Supervisory skills required. Must be able to work in a diverse workforce.
