What is Senior Vice President Design Job Description ?

The Senior Vice President of Design will work closely with Chairman & CEO. DESCRIPTION: Lead the creation of design concepts for newly launched hotel and residential brands on global basis Develop complete design package for interior design for new build projects and renovation of assets Direct, coordinate and manage all design activities Oversee project budgets and installation schedules to ensure on-time project completion Monitor overall quality levels of finishes and FF&E purchases Help develop brand design standards and implement ongoing brand aesthetic policy Effectively prioritize multiple projects concurrently Review and understand, with professional proficiency, detailed construction documents Act as liaison between third party architects and design firms and CEO and head of Hotel Group Select Interior Design and Architectural firms Position requires significant travel in U.S., Caribbean, Canada and Europe. REQUIREMENTS: Candidates must have a minimum of seven years of design experience including some hospitality design. Bachelors Degree in Interior Design preferred. Passage of the National Council of Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) Exam preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong project management and problem solving skills. Authorization to work in the U.S.
