What is Construction General Superintendent Job Description ?

Position Description: Candidate will be responsible for overseeing all field operations, including training, hiring, development and overseeing senior and project superintendents, with a current project volume exceeding $200 million throughout the New England area. Projects consist of large commercial and institutional buildings. This is a senior level management role that seeks to find one of the best general superintendents in the country. Position Requirements: The Candidate must have functioned as a field superintendent and come up through the field ranks. He or she should have been promoted into a role of managing multiple superintendents on large projects ($25 to $75 million in size). Candidate should be an excellent trouble shooter and manager, polished and a good communicator, willing to travel, and have a stable job history.
