Does my cover letter really make a difference?
Yes. If you know the specific construction executive who will be reading and evaluating your construction resume, it is always good to address your cover letter to them. However, we often don't know who will be reading the cover letter. Make sure a general letter is addressed in a gender-neutral tone. Instead of Dear Sir or Dear Ms, use To Whom it May Concern. |
